I have the travel bug, I pretty much never sit still and because I work in the travel industry, travelling the world is pretty much on my mind 24/7. I saw this tag on another blog and thought I’d give it a go because I never do tag posts and thought I’d mix it up!
1. What was the last country you visited?
The last country I visited was America. I was in NYC in November with my OH and we got engaged! <3 I then flew to Orlando with my job a couple of days after I got home from NYC. I’m a busy gal! 🙂
2. How many countries have you visited?
Yikes, I’m gonna be counting a while….ok I give up! I’ve visited too many to even try count them. Sorry!
3. Where is your favorite place on the planet?
New York City! It has always had a hold on me and I just feel so at home roaming the streets of Manhattan. Since getting engaged there in November, it’s even more special now!
4. Favorite place in your home country?
It has to be Galway! I love everything about Galway but I mostly love the positive vibe it has. Even on the shittiest day, people are sitting out drinking beer and coffee. There is nowhere quite like it.
5. If you could board a plane right now, where would you go?
I’m gonna say Mexico, I’m going next month and it can’t come quick enough! Hello 5* All Inclusive heaven!!
6. What are your top three hand luggage must haves?
Water is my number one. I get so dehydrated on flights so I normally have two bottles of water with me. My iPod is also a must as is some Vaseline to keep my lips from drying out.
7. Any travel tips to share?
Do as much as you can. Life is too short and travelling the world is the best money you will ever spend! <3
8. Most embarrassing moment abroad?
It has to be when I fell getting out of the pool in Ibiza when I was about 16!! 16 is like the worst age you could ever fall at! I was soooo embarrassed!! Now I’d just laugh it off! Haha!
9. What’s your cup of tea? Island getaway, ski break, city break?
I love sun holidays and I love city holidays! Lanzarote is a favorite of mine as is the likes of New York so I do mix it up with my yearly trip styles. I also loved Cuba, such a beautiful country and home to the best beach I’ve ever been on!
10. Biggest Disappointment?
I didn’t like LA that much. I think I wanted a lot more from it than what I got. I stayed on Rodeo Drive which was awesome but Hollywood did not appeal to me at all. In saying that, I’d still go back to do the sites and beach areas if I was on a fly drive of California – I’m all for second chances 😉
Are any of you guys travel fanatics? If you blog about travel please leave links below – I’m always trying to find holiday inspo and would love some from you guys!
