Photo of the Day ~ Happy Mother’s Day

Hi all, I thought this was a pretty picture to post today to celebrate all our lovely Mammy’s who we would all be lost without!

I took this picture of these amazing flowers at the Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. One of the prettiest places I’ve ever visited.

Hope you all have a wonderful day,

My new DSLR

Hi guys, I hope you are all great!

I turned 23 this week and received the best present ever from my bf. I now finally own my very own DSLR! I’ve had so much fun using it and exploring with it these past few days. It has also made me want to get back into blogging again and I am so thrilled with how my shots are coming out.

I took the pictures in this post on Thursday morning which was my birthday and I am so pleased with how they came out! I’m gonna try do a photography course in the new year and hopefully attend some photo walks!

This is the first of my DSLR shots and I would really appreciate your feedback? These pictures are unedited.

Thanks so much and please do stay tuned for more of my pictures :)

Photo of the Day

I really must find the time,
to post and write and share my rhyme.

It’s hard when life gets so busy,
We all just get a little dizzy.

But take this picture of a rose,
it could be worse, it could be a big nose!
And although my poem is not to complete, at least the picture is pretty neat :)

Flowers from a Childhood Memory ~ Lanzarote Part Two

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going well. This post is the second of my trip to Lanzarote and it’s based on a beautiful flower plant tree thing that I remember my mammy always used to make me stand under as a little gal to get pictures. Not that I minded, I do love the camera! It’s there to make memories! :)

Seeing this flower always reminds me of my second trip abroad which was to Majorca after my First Holy Communion back in May 1996, when I was seven. All these years later (not that many years later) ;) I still love to see it! :)

I hope you like it :)

Kathleen xoxo
