Ireland is stunning. There’s no denying it and I personally love to get out and explore different parts of the country. With that in mind though, there are still so many places I’ve yet to see and explore! Here are just three routes around Ireland that are high on my staycation bucket list!
1. Atlantic Way
I only discovered the West of Ireland before I moved to Canada in 2013 and what I saw of it, took my breath away. With that being said, there is so much still to do there and Achill Island is VERY high on my list. With beautiful shorelines, rugged cliffs and quaint small villages, I’m just dying to head over there and explore!
2. Giants Causway – Northern Ireland
Next on my list is the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. Photographing this incredible landmark is incredibly high on my bucket list and I believe the route to the Giants Causeway is something spectacular!
3. Corkscrew Hill Co Clare
Corkscrew Hill is a little hidden gem not far from the famous Burren. This extra special route takes you from Ballyvaughan to Lisdoonvarna and its a drive made for the more adventurous! Enjoy stunning views over the surrounding areas and Galway Bay!
