Good morning all! It’s been like two weeks since I’ve blogged my word! I’ve started back working so I’ve just not had the energy to post on here as well. SO! How is my health and fitness goal going!?
Today marks my fourth military fitness class in two weeks and my god are they getting tough! After the first one which was Monday January 6th, my body was in total shock. I couldn’t move for days and I literally ached all over. During this first session we got weighed so that after the eight week course we could measure our weight loss. I’ve been contemplating whether or note to state my weight on here and I’ve decided that I would. When I got weighted January 6th I was 179 pounds.
I’ve been eating so well since the weigh in and I’ve not eaten even a biscuit. I cut out all crap from my diet and on Tuesday night (8 nights later) I weighed myself again. I’m down 4 pounds and I’m thrilled!
Because I went cold turkey on all things yummy though I did feel the need to have a treat last night and I did have one because I don’t want to crash and burn. It’s what always happens me. My attitude towards the treat though is totally new for me because I know I’m not going to fall off the bandwagon! I had a 3 in 1 from the Chinese with some shredded chicken and I truly savored every bite because I know it was a once off for another couple of weeks.
I woke up today just as motivated as I have been to keep going and be healthy and strong willed. I have my fourth military circuit class tonight and I can’t wait for it. I’m beginning to not recognise the person I’m becoming!
But I have a goal and I’m sticking to it!
I’m now 4 pounds down and I have 20 pounds to go to my target weight. I know I can do this.
I’ll continue to keep you all posted on here and on Twitter and thank you so much for the support and encouragement I have received so far. It’s so motivating because if I’m honest – this is the hardest challenge I’ve ever set myself.
Until next time,
