Beauty Review: Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan*

I’ve been waiting a whole year to try the wonder product that is Cocoa Brown tan. I’ve spent my year reading reviews, following the company’s growth and dreaming of when I could use this amazing Irish product. Well the time as come and I am more than impressed!!

Personally I love being tanned, but I was never a fan of fake tan. I’d wear it on a night out or if I had a do but other than that, I was happy being pale through the cold months of the year. Tan brands never phased me, I had a bottle of Rimmel Sun Shimmer Mouse on hand if I needed it but like I wouldn’t lust after using it. This is where Cocoa Brown surprised me. They got me emotionally involved and I hadn’t even tried the product! That’s what you call a pretty awesome mix of customer engagement and brand marketing!

They made me feel that if I had their products, my life would be fabulously fabulous! (I wonder if that’s their strategy lol! πŸ˜€ ) Now I know this all sounds very marketing-esque (apologies it is my background!) but I just admire them for pulling me in and keeping me engaged from across the Atlantic! It’s very impressive.

So! Today I braved the cold and got my white bare legs out (my Cuba tan is well gone at this stage! Sigh!). I gave my bottle a little shake to make the tan moussy and I applied it to my mitt.Β My first impression was OMG this tan smells amazing!! I actually said that out loud! Swear! Haha! πŸ™‚

The mousse was really light and it gave great coverage. Because I could see where I was applying it, I didn’t miss any patches and it didn’t clump or gather around my ankles or knees which was great as well! My bottle did drip a bit when I left it down but that’s the only issue I had and it’s not even an issue!

Here I am before and after applying Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan:

Straight after application I loved the color – it hasn’t been an hour yet but this tan delivered for me almost immediately! My skin is glowing and looks really healthy! More importantly, it looks so natural.

I have since put some on my arms but it’s not coming out as dark there just yet – but in fairness my arms are still kinda tanned from Cuba so it might just take the hour to appear well in this instance.Β Right now, all I want to do is go put on a pair of short shorts and take a walk lol! I’d even be happy with a dress and flip flops! πŸ˜€

This is a super amazing tan and I can see myself being a huge fan of all the products and not just the brand any more. I can’t wait to get my hands on Chocolate Whip, Tough Stuff and the new products they are bringing out in 2014! I’ll be sure to fill you all in on each of them as I get them so stay tuned!

For now, it’s almost Christmas, it’s almost the party season so I urge you all to go and get Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan for your parties. You won’t regret it! Cocoa Brown is available online as well as in chemists around the country, Penneys and Tesco! You can check out their website here for a look at their full range of products or head on over to Superdrug’s website to purchase your Cocoa Brown tan! πŸ™‚

Have you tried Cocoa Brown tan? Did you like it as much as me? I pretty much feel fabulous now! πŸ˜€

Until next time!

**Next Day Low Down**

So I wrote up this review of Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan yesterday and it is now a day later. My tan is much darker now but it still looks really healthy! Last night I felt it did smell a bit tan like but it wasn’t overpowering so it didn’t bother me.

I’m really happy with the product and the color and coverage it gave me πŸ™‚
