Hi readers! I’m just back after a fab week in the sunshine state of Florida! We stayed in Orlando and we also got to see Miami and The Everglades! It was my first time in Orlando and I really didn’t think I was going to like or love it as much as I did! I literally became a kid again and it was just amazing! During the trip we visited Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Seaworld. We also went to see Olly Murs play and visited Miami and the Florida Everglades. All within 5 days! It was the best trip ever! During the vacay I took about 500 pics…I know that’s a lot and to be honest this is my third attempt today at writing a blog post on how we got on. We got to see and do so much I didn’t know where to start! I decided (finally ) to share some of the highlights of the trip with you all.

My first holiday highlight was my trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter because this was an absolute dream come through for me. The park located inside Islands of Adventure just blew me away. Everything resembled the films. If you are a Harry Potter fan make sure you go at least once in your life. I do not lie when I say it almost had me in tears it was so incredible!! I’m standing here with the Hogwarts Express. How happy do I look!?

My second holiday highlight took place in Seaworld. While there we went to see the ‘One Ocean’ killer whale show. This blew me away. Everything about the show was just immensely moving. It had tears in my eyes. These animals are so intelligent and special and I just loved watching them. 

My third holiday highlight also took place in Seaworld. I got to feed and interact with some amazing dolphins! When I was a little girl I was dolphin crazy, everything about them I just loved and they totally fascinated me. It was no different on this trip. They are the happiest animals and so fun to play with and feed!  

My fourth holiday highlight took place in the incredible Florida Everglades. We went on an air boat ride around the swamp and even witnessed many alligators and other rare animals in the wild. It was amazing. Afterwards though, we had the opportunity to hold a real life alligator! I loved it. This little guy was three years old and I expected him to feel really hard but he was so squishy! Everyone thinks I look so scared in this pic but for once I really wasn’t I loved every second of it!  

My last highlight took place in South Beach Miami! We got to spend lots of time in various parts of Miami and it was my first time there so I was really excited. From cruising around the harbor looking at all the celeb mansions to trying Cuban food, Miami was great! The highlight for me though was visiting the very famous South Beach and enjoying the gorgeous turquoise waters. I also got to see where the Kardashian’s live so that was pretty cool. 

Overall this was possibly the best trip of my life! I’m already planning my next adventure. The question is….where too?
