5 things I’m excited for on Harmony of the Seas

I love my job and I’m so lucky that I get to combine two of my biggest passions and call it my career. I am crazy about both Digital Marketing and travelling and together, these two massive parts of my life make up my career! I’m very lucky that I work in the travel industry because I get to go on some incredible trips and next months trip, does not disappoint!

On May 20th I will be jetting off to go on Royal Caribbean’s brand new Harmony of the Seas and I will get to sail on this beauty for 2 nights to experience it before anyone else in the world! How AMAZING is that!

Harmony of the Seas will be the world’s largest ship and she is packed to the brim with things to do, no matter what you enjoy! I’ve never been on an Oasis Class ship and so I can wait to get on board and go explore! Here are 5 things I’m excited for on Harmony of the Seas!

1. Exploring the Seven Neighbourhoods

Yes you read that right, Harmony of the Seas will have 7 neighbourhoods on board, which practically makes it like a city! 😀 The two I’m most excited to see are the Boardwalk and Central Park. I can’t wait to see the concept in real life, because I’ve never experienced anything like this before!

2. Grease!

Royal Caribbean are known for their AMAZING entertainment on board and when I went on Quantum of the Seas, I danced the night away to Mamma Mia. This time around, its going to be Grease and I cannot even explain how excited I am! Grease is just such an iconic show and I’m preparing my vocals as we speak so I can sing the night away to it!

3. The Ultimate Abyss

Now THIS is going to be unreal! The Ultimate Abyss is a dry slide which will feature on Harmony and its going to be the tallest slide at sea! This crazy looking slide drops 10 stories and so I will have to put my brave pants on the day I try this!!

4. The Food

I cannot wait to try out some of the 18 restaurants that will be on Harmony of the Seas and top of my list is Jamie’s Italian! The food on board is an amazing standard and they offer something for everyone! And although, having braces at the moment has hindered me eating certain foods, I’ll be spoilt for choice on board which makes me VERY happy! 🙂

5. Waking up to the Sunrise

I’ve saved my favourite thing to last – the sunrises! I’m going to have a balcony cabin on my sailing and to be honest, its the only way to cruise. You would never catch me in an inside cabin or an ocean view because there is nothing more amazingly peaceful than waking up early, heading outside to your private balcony and watching the sunrise. My gosh, I cannot wait!

I’ve been so excited for this mini cruise sailing for so long and I can’t believe its next month! I’ll be sure to let you all know how I get on. For now, I’m just counting down the days until I get to go on board! 🙂

Wow, lucky you… sounds great. We went on Allure of the Sea last year and it was so hard to comprehend that it was a ship. It was amazing!!! We went on a cruise the year before too on one of the smaller ships and I loved it so much too… the ports were smaller and less industrial. Either way I am sold on cruising. We don’t get on holidays that much and now when we go for a walk we want to see as many countries as possible and cruising is great for this. We weren’t going to go anywhere this year but I want to go on another cruise now… looking at another Med cruise, went with Royal Caribbean both times. We’re looking for a good offer this year though as we didn’t plan on going anywhere… any tips? We booked through Tour America both times and booked for 4 people. Thinking of trying another cruise line but unsure if they will be as good… Can’t wait to see your photos and hear how you get on.
Sorry I’m taking shop with you now on your blog

    All things nice…

    • Wow, it will be hard to come back from Allure to another ship! 😀 I think if you’ve gone that standard, don’t change cruise lines because nothing will match up! Defiantly recommend Tour America, because you know, I work there lol! 😉 Small world! x

      • Allure was great but can’t visit smaller ports like Bay of Kotor and Mykonos which are fab!!! The places win over the ship for me… Oh very good, you work for them- any amazing offers you know of, give me a shout… 🙂 I’ll be booking for 4 people..

        • Summer cruises are booking up fast for the Med so maybe give the office a call and grab a deal before they go up too high in price 🙂 xx

  2. YES! It’s going to be amazing looking forward to the snaps and photos xx
